HavenClaw ("we", "our", or "us") operates the havenclaw.ai platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through our authentication provider (Clerk). We do not store passwords directly.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you interact with our service, including agent configurations, conversation metadata, and feature usage. This helps us improve the product and provide support.
Agent Conversations
Conversations between you and your AI agents are stored within your isolated container environment. We access this data only for service operation, debugging at your request, or as required by law.
Payment Data
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment details on our servers. We receive transaction confirmations and subscription status from Stripe.

- Process transactions and manage your subscription
- Send service-related communications (outage notices, security alerts, billing updates)
- Improve and develop new features based on aggregate usage patterns

4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. Each agent runs in an isolated container environment with its own filesystem. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for sensitive data. API keys and credentials are stored in AWS Secrets Manager and never written to disk in plaintext.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate HavenClaw:
- Anthropic — AI model provider (Claude). Conversations with agents are processed by Anthropic's API subject to their usage policies.
- Clerk — Authentication and user management.
- Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management.
- Amazon Web Services — Infrastructure, compute, storage, and database hosting.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Agent data (conversations, workspace files) is stored in your container's persistent volume and deleted when you delete the agent. When you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can delete your agents and their associated data directly from the dashboard. You may close your account at any time.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use of HavenClaw after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
